Evaluation of scientific production in the field of biomedicine in Slovenia in the past and nowadays
Abstract
Abstract: Principles and procedures of the evaluation of the scientific production in the field of Biomedicine in the past 20 years in Slovenia are described in this paper. This period of time is divided into two parts: up to the year 2004, evaluations were conducted by the Scientific Committee for the Medical Sciences; from the year 2004 onward they are a part of the activities of the Slovenian Research Agency. Advantages and weaknesses of the systems based on the quantitative evaluations are described with the emphasis on their applications in the field of Biomedicine.Downloads
