Treatment of chemical burns of the eye
Abstract
Background: Chemical burn of the eye is one of true ophthalmology emergencies. Correct and on time treatment is vital in preservation of eye function. We can prevent or at least moderate long term complications with coresponding therapy.
Conclusions: Classification, clinical features of chemical burns and recomendations for imediate treatment is shown in this article together with possibilities for long term complication therapy.
